Step-by-step: your first image

1. Go to midjourney.com and click Sign In
2. Log in with your Google or Discord account
3. Click Subscribe and choose the Basic plan ($10/mo)
4. Once subscribed, you land in the Midjourney web interface
5. Click the prompt box at the bottom and type /imagine followed by your description
6. Press Enter — four image variations generate in about 60 seconds
7. Click any image to upscale it, or click V1–V4 to generate variations of your favourite
